Shipping

All rules apply to Colored, Normals, or Normal Colored sugar gliders with special genetics.

When purchasing a colored glider, please remember that they are not like normal stock, especially when it comes to the shipping of Leucistic, WFBlonde, albino, or albino het . They are more susceptible to bacterial stresses which are not the responsibility of the seller if the glider is vet checked prior to shipping. It is not required to vet check an animal for shipping with Continental Airlines, but you may not purchase insurance if you do not have the health certificate. The purpose of the vet check beforehand is so that Continental knows no sick animals are brought on board. Once the glider reaches the premises of the new owner, or leaves the Continental premises, it is out of Continental's hands as well as the original breeders because they do not have control over husbandry, climate, diet, etc. For this reason, please check glider before leaving Continental's premesis. Once the glider has reached its new home, it is the responsibility of the new owner to watch for stresses or stress symptoms and bring the glider to the vet within 48 hours after the shipment of the glider, or within 8 hours after the onset of the symptoms. If a vet has office hours that do not fit within this time frame, emergency vets are in most major cities and you would be expected to contact them. If a bacteria due to stress such as elevation of Ecoli, clostridium, or conditions of that nature arise within the first 48-72 hours after shipment, and the glider needs to be seen by a vet immediately, and it is the reponsibility of the new owner to pay for tests and vet bill. If the glider has not been exposed to stock of the new owners and is tested and the results show a parasite, the original breeder will cover the cost of the vet expenses for said condition. If no parasite comes up in the testing, it is the responsibility of the new owner to pay for all vet cost. When purchasing a glider from ToandFro Gliders, this is our shipping policy for all gliders.

The glider needs to be paid for in its entirety 7 days before shipping. This includes the balance after the deposit is made and also includes the full shipping fees. The breeder makes arrangements for shipping and the buyer is emailed a booking or confirmation number. The day that the glider is shipped, the seller pays the airline for the shipping fees at the time of shipping.
